What is the FA Recommended Premier League Pitch Size?

According to the FA (Football Association), all Premier League football pitches must fall within a length range of 90 metres to 120 metres and a width of 45 metres to 90 metres, so there's no exact size that they have to be. Just as long as they fit within these ranges, then they can vary from club to club.

Why Do Premier League Pitch Sizes Vary?

The difference in Premier League pitch sizes can be attributed to a variety of different factors. For example, the finances available to the club will play a huge part in how much they have to spend constructing and maintaining the pitch.

The size of the stadium will play a big part, too. Obviously, if you have a smaller stadium size, you won't be able to fit a bigger size pitch in the same space. So, if the club has a small stadium capacity, then it's likely their pitch size will be relatively smaller too.
