FAQs
How Much Space is Required for a Cricket Practice Net at Home?
The space you need depends on the size cricket net you use. We offer 4 standard lengths: 3.66m, 7.32m, 10.98m, and 14.64m. You should give yourself plenty of room to set up the net, with some free space surrounding for safety. The wooden poles supplied with our kits are 9 foot high, so you will also need plenty of vertical space.
How Do You Set Up a Home Cricket Net?
Attach the cricket net to the wooden poles using the included fixings. Use the guy ropes to suspend the net at an angle, ensuring it is secure and taut, staking into the ground with the spikes and pegs included in our kits. Also secure the bottom of the netting to the ground using the provided pegs.
If you require any assistance setting up your cricket net, don't hesitate to contact our team for support!
Are the Cricket Nets Suitable for Indoor Use at Home?
Our cricket nets are suitable for indoor use. However, we recommend setting practice nets up outdoors for home use. Indoor spaces may not have enough vertical room for the net to be set up correctly, and outdoor spaces provide a more realistic environment for practising cricket skills.
However, if you have a room large enough to accommodate the height and width of our cricket nets, then you can certainly use them indoors as well.
Are Huck Nets Cricket Nets to Professional Standards?
Yes, our cricket nets are made to England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) standards, making them suitable for professional use and recreating a professional training environment.
